The Rascals Biography

The Rascals (initially The Young Rascals then The Rascals and now The New Rascals) were paragons of blue-eyed soul - that is, soul music played and sung by white performers. Other well-known purveyors of blue-eyed soul include The Righteous Brothers and such British singers as Steve Winwood, Van Morrison and Joe Cocker. However, no one had more commercial clout than The Rascals who could belt it out with the best of them. The Rascals were masters of the three-minute single: sustained bursts of highly energized pop-soul made to be blasted over transistor radios or danced to at parties and discotheques. Three of the four members had apprenticed with Joey Dee and the Starliters (of Peppermint Twist fame), and all could legitimately claim backgrounds in R&B. The Rascals came together in New York City when Felix Cavaliere, Gene Cornish and Eddie Brigati left Joey Dee and recruited Dino Danelli. The New Rascals featuring Gene Cornish & Dino Danelli, (inductees in The Rock n' Roll Hall Of Fame), are now thrilling audiences worldwide with their high-energy performances. Upon receipt of the information included in the Consultation & Artist Info Package, Buyer agrees that ERG has fulfilled its obligations under this agreement and releases ERG from any and all liability to the maximum extent allowed by law, and will indemnify and hold harmless ERG, its directors, officers, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims arising from this agreement and subsequent event including but not limited to all third party claims, losses, damages, suits, fees, judgments, costs and expenses (collectively referred to as 'Claims'), including attorneys' fees incurred in responding to such Claims, that the parties may suffer or incur arising out of or in connection with (a) a party’s negligence, willful misconduct, or breach of any representation, warranty, or other obligation under this Agreement, or (b) any personal injury (including death) or damage to property resulting from a party or its agents' acts or omissions and standard force majeure. The parties will give prompt notice of any Claim to the other party, and the parties will defend the opposing party at their request. This Agreement will be governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of NEVADA.
